Drawn to the Darkness

I've always been fascinated by the weird, the dark, the scary, the macabre. I honestly don't know where it comes from. Even as a young child I remember liking spooky stories. Halloween was always my favorite time of year, and I always insisted on dressing up as something "scary" like a ghost, a vampire, a mummy, etc.

This love of the darkness has bled into my fascination with the occult and to know what's hiding behind the curtain. I love making art that is grotesque and, frankly, offensive to most. It's a weird dichotomy, because I also consider myself to be a lightbearer, and I see myself as someone wanting to always make things better, brighter, and happier for those around me.
